      @Patrik_Strom

There are currently no premade Decks for the Stream Deck Plus, however, you can always build your own.

Here are some video's how to do this.

      I hope that helps. :-)

          Hi!
I do understand how to build my own decks. Have 3 stream deck XL. But how do you program rotary encoders and the display?

          Kind regards,
          Patrik

              Hi!

Haven't seen an answer to this.

                Hi Patrick,

My apologies, I must have missed your question.

I assume you are referring to the Stream Deck Plus? Right now we have limited pre-made commands for Stream Deck Plus rotary encoders, and programming them is reserved for members of the SoundFlow Developer program. However, if there is specific functionality you'd like to see for the rotary encoders, be sure to make a request in the Ideas section of the forum so that it can be considered for future implementation.

As an example, we do have a Volume control macro that can be assigned to a rotary controller on a Stream deck + in the SoundFlow Basics folder.

I look forward to hearing your ideas.

Hi Kitch, I'm glad to see the S Plus supported. Is there somewhere I can see what the current commands are, in relation to the rotary encoders? I can only find the volume up/down. I'd be most excited about midi cc control for those.

Is there any more progress on midi hardware control features in general? I'm really hoping that Soundflow can be my midi hardware control platform, in the same way that SoundFlow manages my StreamDecks.

                      Hi @Andrew_Sherman

Regarding commands available for the Stream Deck Plus rotary encoders, this is the only one available at the moment but we plan on adding more in the future. There is also a Stream Deck Plus Deck available in the premium "HUI Control" package in the store, that allows you to control pro tools faders via the HUI protocol.

If there is functionality that you'd like to see for Stream Deck Plus rotary controllers, be sure to add your request/suggestion to the Ideas section of the forum.

Regarding features for MIDI Hardware control, we do have plans to improve this but we don't have an official public timeline for that right now.

                      Rock on!

Hi Kitch, is there any further development on Stream Deck Plus rotary encoders? Hoping to be able to assign midi ccs and update the display showing custom parameter name and value.

                            Hi @Andrew_Sherman,

Great timing... Progress has been made (this week) with the Rotary controller for Stream Deck+.

If you have not seen it already, check out Chad's video that was posted yesterday on the Facebook SoundFlow user Group.

                            https://www.facebook.com/729538654/videos/1245802582769467/

Due to its complexity dynamic rendering content is still reserved for SoundFlow developers. So you'll not be able to get dynamic feedback other than what you'll see in the video.

The SoundFlows Basics package now contains a "Generic Knob Command", allowing you to create presets to assign individual actions on Left and Right knob movements, and an individual action when pressing the knobs.

For any specific requests be sure to post them in the Ides section that way they'll be logged for consideration in future versions of SoundFlow.

Great, thanks Kitch. Congrats on the new feature. I don't yet have the SD+ so can't test this. Will the knob work as expected, when assigning Send Midi CC to a knob turn? For example to send midi on a specific cc, such as cc 100, with values from 0 - 127, assigned to knob turn right?

I have not tried that yet... I'll take a look in the next couple of days and see if that's achievable. :-)

Hi Kitch, Do you know if this is possible yet ? as i am trying to assign a CC value to the left and right knob turn to control searching presets on an external hardware device and cannot get it to work.

                                      1. Kitch Membery @Kitch2025-01-04 00:19:09.052Z

                                        Hi @Brett_Chapman,

Can you tell me a bit more about what you're trying to achieve here?

What app are you trying to control?
What are the CC values for navigating to the next and previous preset?

Also, be sure to check out Chad's video on "Generic Knob Commands" here...

Hi Kitch, I am really hoping to be able to use the Streamdeck + knobs to increase and decrease through the presets in my vintage Eventide H3000 unit. I am able to call up given preset with a button press program change message but would love to turn the Streamdeck + knob to change through the presets. Do you know if this would be possible ?
