    stream deck not loading soundflow decks

    System Information

    SoundFlow 5.2.2

    OS: darwin 19.6.0

    ProductName: Mac OS X
    ProductVersion: 10.15.7
    BuildVersion: 19H2026

    Steps to Reproduce

    1. If I leave my computer for a few hours, when I come back the streamdeck just shows the soundflow logo and doesn't respond to any "show deck" commands
    2. unplugging and plugging back in the streamdeck does not help
    3. restarting the computer sometimes helps but usually not.

    Expected Result

    My streamdeck to show the soundflow decks

    Actual Result

    It doesn't

      Hi @Toby_Allen,

      I'm sorry you are experiencing this issue. 99% of the time this is due to the Stream Deck device restarting because it temporarily is lacking enough power delivered on the USB bus.

      Please try to connect the device directly to your computer (no hub or adapter), not as a solution, but as a first troubleshooting step. If that works, you know that it's the hub/adapter/power delivery.

          Thanks for your speedy reply!

          I tried connecting straight into my computer and it worked straight away. So first off, thanks! Although it is odd as the hub I’m using is an Anker 10 port with a very hefty PSU.

            Glad that worked @Toby_Allen.

            Unfortunately, power consumption for Stream Decks is out of our control, and we don't have a list of supported hubs. It might be worth reaching out in the SoundFlow Facebook group to see if anyone has recommendations.

                Well, plot twist. Today I booted up my mac, and the stream deck is connected directly to the mac, and no joy. It just shows the soundflow logo on the streamdeck and won't display any of my decks. It will show the blank red page when I go to "set up streamdeck" but that is it. Tried disconnecting and reconnecting.

                  Hi Toby,

                  Can you give me some more information about this?

                  How are you showing the decks? (Via the Show Deck button, Application Trigger, or via a macro or Script?)
                  What is the Command ID of the Deck you are trying to display on your Stream Deck? (You can get this by selecting the deck in the editor and then clicking "Copy Command ID" from the "Command" menu)
