Plugins load - but not on master fader
Ok here's a PT session: https://www.dropbox.com/s/csjl329vw2st3rr/For Teezio.ptx?dl=0
What I'm running into is, plugins load fine on tracks, or aux inputs (like Soothe2), but when I try to use Teezio Plugin Loader on the Master fader, it fails. Can't seem to figure out why that would be the case!

Thanks for posting a question or an issue related to the 'Teezio's Plugin Loader' package.
This package is made by @Kitch. We're auto-tagging them here so that they will hopefully be able to help you. Please note, that the best way to get help with a script, macro or other content installed from the Store is to select the script you installed, then click the red Need help button, and then click "Get help with this script or macro".
By using this workflow, the developer of the package will get access to more information so they'll be able to help you quicker.

Thanks for reporting this @Zach_McNees.
I'll take a look at it over the weekend and see if I can work out what is happening. I think it might be because there are no pan sliders on Master tracks. Hopefully, I can work out a way to get the track width without needing them.
Out of interest, is it throwing an error when trying to instantiate plugins on the master track?
- ZZach McNees @Zach_McNees
hard to suss out where exactly the error happens. I see it briefly load the 2nd row of inserts (F-J) and then basically gives the error and fails.
I've found myself with a couple uses for this on the Master Fader recently for loading Waves WLM and Sonarworks SoundID Reference.
Thank you!

Ahh I see, Did you catch what the error was?

Hi again @Zach_McNees,
Unfortunately, I'm unable to make the script fail, even when using the session you provided.
Can you provide some more information for me?
What version of Pro Tools are you using?
Are any floating windows covering the target insert slot?
Are you using the plugin loader in the Mix or Edit window when seeing the issue?
Can you take a screenshot of the Preset you are using?
What is the width of your Master track (Note: the plugin loader only works on mono and stereo tracks right now.)
Does the plugin have an option for the width you're trying to open?It would be great to get a screen recording of the preset failing. That may shed some light on the issue.
Thanks in advance.

Strange! So it works for you on my session on the master? It works on everything but the master for me.
Pro Tools 20223.6
No floating windows
Fails in mix and edit window
Not using a preset. Just trying to load the Soothe2 straight out of the Teezio Plugin Loader Macro. It works perfectly on "Clips 1" but fails on the Master.
Stereo Master TrackSo odd! Here's a screen vid:
Latest error said "could not find audio output path selector button"

Thanks for the info, video, and for your patience with this @Zach_McNees.
It seems that you may have ToolTips turned off in Pro Tools' Preferences. Tool Tips must be set to on for both Function and Details for SoundFlow to work correctly in Pro Tools.
See the following link for details. :-)

Rock on!

OH! Tool tips on seems to have fixed it! How interesting. Thank you!

Hey, having the same issue here, and I checked to ensure that ToolTips are both on. Any idea what coul dbe causing it? Otherwise my info is the same as Zach listed above, Pro Tools 2023.6 and all the rest, except using Devil-Loc Deluxe instead of Soothe2 but I'd imagine that shouldn't make a difference. Only other issue is that the error I get doesn't say "could not find audio output path selector button," and I've pasted below the errors that get listed in the log upon each failed attempt.

Hi @Frank_Toncar,
Thanks for reaching out, and sorry for the delay.
Can you try updating to the latest version of the plugin Loader version 1.5.1. If the issue persists please select the preset in SoundFlow and use the red "Need help?" button. This way I'll get all the information I need to investigate further. Thanks in advance. :-)
