Automatic Fades When Making A Split in Logic

Is there a way to add automatic fades when splitting regions in Logic? I've worked on past projects where it would happen automatically, but it hasn't done it since, and I don't know what settings I would have to alter to get it back. I know of different key commands like Ctrl-Option-X and Option-Shift-X as well as the X-fade settings in the Drag window, but is there a shortcut or a way to alter my settings so that it happens automatically when I make a cut?

      Hi @assistant,

Logic Pro has an inbuilt way of doing this without using SoundFlow.

      1. Deselect all clips in the arrange window.
      2. Open the Inspector, and in the "Region: Apply Defaults" panel, set the fade settings to taste.
      1. Once you've done that whenever you cut a region it should add a crossfade at the cut point.

      I hope that helps.
