I just updated to 5.4.3 and my Steam Deck font is now microscopic. This is bad. How can I change it back to the way the font has been displayed for the last few years?

Hi Dan,
Can you share a photo of this? SoundFlow 5.4 has a new icon rendering engine that we'll be using to eventually roll out features where you can customize icons, text sizes etc.
The engine is designed to use the same font size as before, so if you're seeing a significant size change, that sounds like there may be a bug.
It'd be helpful if you follow the steps outlined by the @soundflowbot comment so we have access to your log files.

This issue is now tracked internally by SoundFlow as SF-887

It looks less dramatic in this phone shots, but it is WAY smaller. I’ll get the log files in a second.

Thanks, Dan. This size looks like the same font size we were using before and looks to be the designed/intended size.
Do you happen to have a before picture?

It is hard to see how significantly different it is in these shots, but you can see with the "Super Bounce" or "Save As New" buttons the same on both. It is definitely rendering much different for me after updating.

Thanks, Dan. Yea I do see it's a bit different, although as you said it's difficult to see a large difference on the phone shots.
I'm not sure there's much we'll be able to do in this case though, until the features arrive with options to control text size manually.
We needed to switch the rendering engine to be a cross platform engine so that what you see when you design the icons in the Editor is exactly the same as you see on Stream Decks (and eventually, on iOS and Android).
This work meant letting go of the existing text rendering engine that was based on tech that couldn't be ported to iOS and Android. We did a bunch of tests with users ensuring that the new text rendering was as close as we could get it to what we had before - but it'll never be exactly the same as the engine is different.
If you can't live with it at all, there's two options for a resolution here and now:
- Temporarily install an older version of SoundFlow, ie. 5.2.2. Note that this will only work temporarily, until the auto-update kicks in in the future
- The icons that you need to have specific text sizes could be designed outside of SF

I can live with it for now, but would definitely make it bigger if given an option!! Ha ha.
