Bounced stems without stereo information (Batch Export)
Hello! I share a problem with this post ( Stereoinformation gets lost on some tracks after batch export #post-12 )
Stereo information from bounced stems via Batch export is gone.
When i do basic offline bounce without Bounce factory, it is ok.
I made a video of that also with comparing the exported stems.
And there is also the Report file from bounce factory app
if theres anything needed to add, ill do it asap :)

Thanks for posting a question or an issue related to the 'Scheps Bounce Factory' package.
This package is made by @Andrew_Scheps. We're auto-tagging them here so that they will hopefully be able to help you. Please see support instructions here from @Andrew_Scheps:
Bounce Factory Support
The best and fastest way to get help with any Bounce Factory problem is to send the User Files and (if applicable) a screen recording of Bounce Factory failing. The easiest way to do this is to use the "Report a Problem" button in the app:
1. Go to the Bounce Factory settings using the cog in the bottom-right of the app:
2. Click the red "Report A Problem…" button at the bottom of the Settings screen
3. Follow the instructions on the screen.
Thanks!

Hi @Romuald_Klemm ,
Thanks for sending the files. The very first thing is you're on an older version SoundFlow, you should be on 5.4.8 which you can get here: https://my.soundflow.org/install
I'm not positive that will fix things, but give it a try.
If it doesn't fix it, just so I know exactly what's gong on, you're saying the files that get bounced are mono but still have audio? Also, is it every bounce pass?
Thanks!

Another thing to test is, if you are only making one Snapshot per session you can turn off part of the bounce preparation process which might help this. From re-reading the original thread it seems related to Heat and this could help.
Try going into the Bounce Factory settings, and disabling the Snapshot Data Recall Filter by clicking its title.. You only need it on if you're changing more than solos and mutes between mix passes (which would require more than one Snapshot). This will skip the step where the Heat settings are recalled and just leave them set the way they are in the session. My theory is that recalling Heat settings is screwing things stuff up. I'll look at it when I'm back next week, but in the meantime this should help.

It looks like the Snapshopt Recall filter WORKED!
So it maybe is the HEAT thing. Because HEAT is enabled on those tracks..
Thank you so much for all your help!

Definitely Heat, and I'll try and fix it when I get back! I have a feeling that after recalling Heat you need to start the transport once before trying to bounce.

Great! Thanks for this black magic making life so much easier!

Hi @Romuald_Klemm ,
I'm trying to reproduce the bug here and am having a hard time. If you wouldn't mind, could you take a snapshot that will bounce mono, try bouncing to make sure (keeping the snapshots) and then send me the Session file (no audio) and the User Files? I'd love to be able to recreate this so I can fix it.
Thanks!

Hello Andrew,
I managed to do the bad export. Hope i did everything right (bad).
Heres a link to Pro Tools session file, BF User Files and there are 2 short audio files so you can see what the bad export does to the sound. One correct export and one monoish. If there is anything else, or i sent something wrong, let me know, im happy to help with this, im now in the studio, so you shouldnt wait long.
Thank you, Romuald Klemm

I have been trying for days to reproduce this and I can't, even with your sessions! It's something to do with importing the Heat Settings but I don't know what. I may just try disabling that for now, I can't imagine people are running alternate mixes with doifferent heat settings (but maybe they are...)
- RRomuald Klemm @Romuald_Klemm
Yeah, for me its set it and leave. I dont know if it makes some difference and you saw it in the session but the Heat was on “pre” which is not default. But with your easy fix it works like a charm!
