Midi Fighter settings

    Hi!

Currently demoing this. Very promising! I have a Midi Fighter Twister on loan and the physical action of it feels great, but I'm getting some lag on the mapped actions. I noticed that you use the same controller in your videos, Chris, and I was just wondering if it might have something to do with the settings in the Midifighter Utility app. Could I be so rude to ask you what your settings are for the encoders there, Chris?

    Thank you!

Thanks for posting a question or an issue related to the 'CS Control' package.
This package is made by @Chris_Shaw. We're auto-tagging them here so that they will hopefully be able to help you.

Please note, that the best way to get help with a script, macro or other content installed from the Store is to select the script you installed, then click the red Need help button, and then click "Get help with this script or macro".
By using this workflow, the developer of the package will get access to more information so they'll be able to help you quicker.

          Hey @Kyrre_Laastad,
For the Twister I have my "Encoder Type set" to "ENC 3FH/41h" (Which is hexadecimal for 63/65).

I have the sensitivity set for High Resolution but I haven't tried any other setting.

For "Switch Action Type" I use toggle. You can also use CCHold but whichever you choose all of your switch types need to be the same - either all CC Hold or all CC Toggle.

I use the free MIDI Monitor app to check / confirm the messages from the Twister - https://www.snoize.com/midimonitor/

Thanks for trying the app and let me know if you have any other issues.

Update: after using it for 11 days I'm absolutely dependent on this thing now. It really breaks up the monotony of mixing, my wrists feels better, and my mixes might become better too from the more varied workflow. I have an Avid Dock that I've tried to get into using for these kinds of things, but CS Control is much more intuitive, flexible and just better. Essential!

                    1. I’m so glad you’re liking it.
                      Thanks for the feedback.
                      Much appreciated!
