Search markers by name?
Hello,
I found this Soundflow discussion:
How to use Search Markers with Selection Memory Locations?
which I think is pretty useful, but it seems to only search by the marker number and not the marker name. Is there a way to change that so that the PopUpSearch will search the name field? My guess would be that I have to make the name field appear first in the search pop up? Is that correct?

Hi Randall,
There's a built-in marker search in SoundFlow that searchs through marker names - see under the "Memory Locations" folder for "Search Markers" and assign a keyboard trigger to it, for example.
Here, I've assigned Ctrl+M to it.- RRandall Smith @Randall_Smith
Is that part of the Basic Pro Tools package? I do not have that command.

Hi Randall,
Yes, it's part of the built-in Pro Tools package, under the "Memory Locations" folder as I shared in the picture above.

Bummer. We have to uninstall that package due to all the built in keyboard short cuts and application focus parameters. It takes over versus pre-existing Pro Tools short cuts.

Hey @Randall_Smith,
You may find it helpful to change the settings on your "Profile" within the SoundFlow app to have the Default SoundFlow Triggers disabled or, if preferred, no default triggers. Selecting "Profile" in the menu bar can change this setting anytime. From there, you can configure the profile with "Edit Default Profile..." or select the configuration directly. Configuring your profile this way allows you to avoid conflicts with native Pro Tools commands.

That comes back with an error.
"Could not fetch memory locations from GUI (Search Markers: Line 1)
Error performing Memory Location action
Error in EnsureMemoryLocationsWindowAction: Could not Show Main Counter in Memory Locations window"I get this same error in other scripts that need to call the marker window.
I am using PT 23.9

@Randall_Smith,
Can you confirm that you are on the latest version of SoundFlow 5.5.1? If not, please try updating here:
https://my.soundflow.org/install
Avid made many changes to Memory Locations this year, and implementation has been updated on recent versions of SoundFlow.
If you are still seeing an error on SoundFlow 5.5.1, can I have you make a new thread with the "Help/Issue Workflow" described here: https://soundflow.org/docs/help#help-issue
That workflow will allow our team to assess what may be causing an issue.
