BF gives errors and opens Pro Tools preference window

    Whenever I try to launch bounce factory while pro tools is open, it gives several soundflow errors and opens the pro tools preference window. - I am able to get BF to open outside of pro tools but when I launch PT and click "Take Snapshot," I'm met with the same errors/preference window. Any ideas? All is up to date (pro tools, sound flow, bounce factory).

        Bounce Factory Support


        The best and fastest way to get help with any Bounce Factory problem is to send the User Files and (if applicable) a screen recording of Bounce Factory failing. The easiest way to do this is to use the "Report a Problem" button in the app:


        1. Go to the Bounce Factory settings using the cog in the bottom-right of the app:


        2. Click the red "Report A Problem…" button at the bottom of the Settings screen


        3. Follow the instructions on the screen.

                  Hi @Christian_Paschall ,

                  Unfortunately the issue is that you're on MacOS Sonoma. Pro Tools has issues on Sonoma and BF can't be supported on it yet. There are issues with menus and dialogs (which is what you're seeing here). As soon as Pro Tools is compatible I will be able to update the app. Sorry I don't have better news.

                  I'm assuming you got one of the new M3 computers? (I have a macBook Pro on order). I'm sure they're insanely fast and can't wait to be able to use it.

                      Ahhhh bummer! -- That's exactly what happened... New M3. Sonoma came installed. You know the drill. Hopefully Pro Tools gets an update out soon though!!

                      FWIW, PT seems to be functioning nice and smoothly otherwise? Still needs to open with Rosetta on account of a couple of plugins but otherwise I think we're almost there with silicon.

                      Thank you for the quick reply and for looking into it! I'll keep an eye out for a BF update after Avid gets theirs out the door.

                          Yeah, unfortunately a lot of the issues are under the hood stuff with menus and dialogs, which is exactly where BF lives.
