CS Control - Latency
I just started using CS Control with a StreamDeck +. It is insanely powerful and does things I’ve been wanting to do for 10+ years!
I’m noticing some latency with finder switching into SoundFlow to activate a CS Control command and then switching back into pro tools to execute the command. Is this normal operation or is there a way to speed this up?
Also I am occasionally having an error where CS control is scrolling up or down in my plugin window when I turn a knob that is programmed to do something else. Not sure why this is happening.
I’m running a Mac Pro M2Ultra on Sonoma. Thanks!

Hey @unnamed_2219,
I'm glad that you're liking CS Control and sorry that you're having issues with it.
Unfortunately SF and PT are not compatible with Sonoma at this time. Until Avid qualifies PT with Sonoma there's not much I or SF can do.
Christian commented on this recently here: Sonoma Issues #post-3
and there are some issues with my Track Data Utilities package as well:
Copy Track Data failed. Could not open popup menu (__HelperScript: Line 270) #post-5Hopefully, once AVID qualifies PT with Sonoma the issues will work themselves out

Gotcha! Do you feel like the stream deck with CS control responds as quick as a keyboard or mouse does in Ventura?

sorry for the late reply - yes it does.

Hi @unnamed_2219
I'm pleased to let you know that SoundFlow now supports using Pro Tools on macOS Sonoma.
To get full Sonoma support, SoundFlow 5.7+, Pro Tools 2024.3+ and macOS Sonoma 14.3+ are required.
