'Could not click Track Duplicate...': Duplicate audio macro failing

    System Information

    SoundFlow 5.5.1

    OS: darwin 23.1.0

    ProductName: macOS
    ProductVersion: 14.1
    BuildVersion: 23B74

    Steps to Reproduce

    1. Install latest ProTools and Soundflow on a new computer.
    2. Installed latest version of Soundflow (5.5.1)
    3. Create new macro
    4. Add action: Duplicate audio
    5. Run macro directly from script
    6. Duplicate audio window comes up on second screen.
    7. Macro fails
    8. This also fails when using my old macro which worked perfectly. Maybe a systems permissions issue?

    Expected Result

The boxes for active playlist, Alternate playlists and Automation should be unchecked.

    Actual Result

The macro fails with the error:

10.01.2024 11:21:12.92 [Backend]: !! Command Error: PT: Track Duplicate No Audio [user:cka9eanco0000vi104m4qslyd:ckb33whd20006yz10afidxn6q]:

    Workaround

    Not yet...

    Other Notes

I have always run at least three screens on my system. Now I'm down to two. The Duplicate audio window always appears on my second screen. I'm wondering if the macro can't access it from there.

      Hi @Chris_Winter,

Unfortunately, SoundFlow does not support Sonoma yet, since Pro Tools doesn't support Sonoma.

      From our System requirements page.
      https://soundflow.org/docs/getting-started/install-soundflow/system-requirements

14.x Sonoma: We are currently testing with macOS Sonoma. We have detected issues in Pro Tools related to using SoundFlow with Pro Tools on macOS Sonoma, so we recommend staying on macOS 12 or 13 for now.

We'll be sure to let you know once SoundFlow supports Mac OS Sonoma.

Thanks for the update Kitch. I’ll make do for now.

              Hi @Chris_Winter

I'm pleased to let you know that SoundFlow now supports using Pro Tools on macOS Sonoma.

To get full Sonoma support, SoundFlow 5.7+, Pro Tools 2024.3+ and macOS Sonoma 14.3+ are required.

You can download SoundFlow 5.7.0 today from our website at https://my.soundflow.org
