Hi,
Thanks for reporting this. SoundFlow's iOS app currently relies on "Bonjour" (zero config) messaging to figure out if the connection is still active to a SF Mac computer.
There's been quite a few reports of similar behavior to what you're experiencing here, which has led us to believe that it requires a redesign of the way connections are made between the iOS and Mac apps to fully fix this issue. We've scheduled work soon to hopefully fix this.
I'll add this report to our internal tracking issue.Besides ensuring that your computers and devices all have static DHCP addresses, I don't believe we have many other alternative options for troubleshooting or fixing this at this point.

Have there been any updates regarding this issue? One of our iPads has started to drop more consistently, sometimes every few minutes. Even after assigning static DHCP addresses

Hi!
There's one more workaround/solution we've found to potentially help with this. If you connect the iPad via USB and set it to flight mode, this should force the iPad to connect its network over the USB cable instead of via wifi, thus making the connection more reliable. In some cases, we've seen this have a bit of a degrading performance for image loading, but once images are cached on the iPad, it should be as fast as through other means.

Thank you! I will try this out!
