This command requires the Pro Tools language to be set to English. (Pro Tools is in English already)

    Hi,

I haven't used my studio computer with Pro Tools and Soundflow for some time, possibly since December, I'm not sure. I am now getting this error when doing certain commands such as show clip gain line and remove all fades:

13.02.2024 11:43:02.40 [Backend]: !! Command Error: Toggle: Clip - Clip Gain Line [user:ckp49i4j60000a2100yfwywgf:cku2diuae0000sz10rkogpg2j#cktxjf0yp003853103jvrb55c]:
This command requires the Pro Tools language to be set to English.

Pro Tools 2023.9 on Catalina, Soundflow 5.2.2. MacOS in English, Pro Tools set to English. Keyboard set to Swedish Pro (setting to Australian English makes no difference)

Any tips on how to resolve this?

        Thanks for contacting SoundFlow support.

Please note, that the best way to get help with a script, macro or other content installed from the Store or content that you've made yourself, is to select the script/macro, then click the red Need help button, and then click "Get help with this script or macro".
By using this method, we will get access to more information and so should be able to help you quicker.
You can read more about how this works here: bit.ly/sfscripthelp

If you're seeing an error that isn't related to scripts or macros, and you think this is a bug in SoundFlow, please file a Help/Issue bug report.
You can see how to do this by going to bit.ly/sfhelpissue

          Hi Jonathan,

You should start by updating to SoundFlow 5.5.4 to have support for newer versions of Pro Tools.
          Get the installer here: https://my.soundflow.org

Thanks Christian, I’ll try that at the studio tomorrow. I didn’t realise there was a newer version, when I clicked the version number in the app it said no updates available or something like that.

It's working now with the latest version

                  Thanks again!

Just wanted to add to this (I know it's an oldish thread!) I am running the latest version of Soundflow, and I'm running Pro Tools Studio 2023.12, and randomly on just one script (as far as I can tell) I am receiving this error. PT is in English. Any ideas? Cheers!

                      1. Hi Dylan,

It's better to create a new report so we have access to proper log files and contextual information:
