Soundflow 5.6.1 Logic Issues
I started a 30 day trial of soundflow after watching the recent video by Eli Krantzberg for Production Experts on Logic Integration. It looked amazing and seemed to be working excellently for him. I noticed that he made the video using version 5.5.4. I am using 5.6.1 on OSX Sonoma with the latest version of Logic.
In my testing I’ve been having quite a few issues. First of all, I often click into sub decks from the stock Logic 5x3 deck and get a black screen, having to reload the deck entirely to start again. In addition, macros generally get through one action before giving me an error message, at which point Logic freezes. Did something break with Logic and Soundflow between version 5.5.4 and 5.6? I really want to like this, but I’m sadly finding it virtually unusable for my workflow at the moment.

Thank you for trying out SoundFlow with Logic Pro! Next time you encounter an error message from a macro, would you mind using the "Script Help" workflow outlined in this link:

This method ensures the SoundFlow team can access the log files and see what commands are giving trouble and any other system information that may provide us with clues to resolving problems.
Can you give us a bit more detail regarding subdecks not loading correctly? What device are you using the deck on? A Stream Deck or an iOS/Android device?

To make sure this is working please manually update SoundFlow from my.SoundFlow.org
Regarding the other issues you were experiencing when using the package, can you provide more information on a specific example so I can look into it further?
