Copy Track Data issue and question
Hey Chris, I'm having an issue with Pasting track data where SF can't find the pop up menu and I think it's because when I go to paste track data sends F-J are revealed, which then pushes the track name out of view. If I make my mix window the max size of my screen, the paste works. . . however, the script finishes without putting my mix window back how it was with sends F-J hidden. So, question 2 is, is there a way to revert back to the screen configuration I had before running the script once it finishes?
Thanks!

Hey Gary,
I can't seem to reproduce the issue here on my rig. I've made the mix window as small as possible and copying and pasting track data works as expected - including resetting the window back to it's original size. The usual questions:
Which Version of PT and MacOS are you running?
Are you running the latest version of Track Data Utilities(2.0.63) and the latest SF (5.7.5) which is available here? It'd be really helpful if you could post a screen recording of what's happening on your setup as well.
Thanks

I’ll look into it but I’m the meantime do the paste in the edit window. It definitely should work there

I did not even realize that Edit vs Mix window was variable -- will experiment with just using edit window . . . thanks!

Most, if not all, SF scripts are written to be used in the Edit window. The UI elements in the Mix window are tricky to deal with.

interesting -- i don' think Ive ever paid any mind to what window is currently focused when it comes to SF. Very good to know for any kind of squirrell-y behavior. . . .

To close the loop here, this was a matter of the target track being visible in the mix window but not in the edit window

Wait - you can have different track views in the mixer and edit windows or are you saying that the track was scrolled into view in one window and not the other?

Just a scrolling issue
