Import an audio file using the Copy -> or Convert -> option instead of Add ->

Hi guys,

I'm trying to create a script that imports an audio file into Pro Tools using the Copy -> or Convert -> option as opposed to the Add -> option.

Based on the bit depth and sample rate of the selected audio file, either Copy -> or Convert -> will be available. So I guess the script would need to do a check and select whichever option is present.

Next, the script would have to press 'Open' twice; once to confirm the choices made in the Import Audio window and once to confirm the location of the copied audio file (which by default will be the session Audio Files folder).

In the Audio Import Options window that appears, the script should select Destination: 'New Track' and Location: 'Selection' and then press OK.

Anyone know how to write this up?
