Logic Pro Command Scripts

Finally playing around with the new Logic Pro package at a deeper level - having fun optimizing the old commands, scripts and macros I previously made.

Question - I'm trying to get the script for a handful of the new commands, specifically for the bounce commands (trying to rebuild my stem printing script). Even when editing my own copy, I'm only seeing the convert to script when I create a macro, which just has the script to run the command...I'm trying to get into the bounce commands at a granular level so I can tweak the track labeling with text copy commands, etc...

    Thanks!

      Hi @Justin_Krol,

Thanks for asking... Until further notice many of the Logic Pro package scripts will remain closed.

You can however use them in your own scripts by converting Macros to scripts.

If however you have any requests or are experiencing an issue with one of the Logic Pro package commands please let me know and I can take a look. :-)

There's lots more great stuff to come!

Thanks! I’m basically just trying to automate the copy and paste of a track name into the file name field of the bounce command as the new bounce command appears to be more stable than my own previous script to print stems. With the commands being closed for now, are there any workarounds you can think of? I was just going to select the first track, solo, then copy the track name, run the bounce command and interject ctrl+v to paste the name of the track into dialogue box, continue the bounce command and then arrow to the next track and repeat.

          Thanks!

I came up with a workaround, however, I discovered that there's an issue with the bounce presets for MP3 and for Wave (the AAC bounces seem to work). I get an error "selecting PCM destination" or "selecting MP3 destination".

              Thanks!

                Thanks @Justin_Krol,

If you could log a bug report for this and possibly do a screen recording to attach to the report, showing the preset settings and preset failing that would be very helpful.

                Thanks in advance.
