Logic Pro X - Key Commands

By Kitch Membery @Kitch2019-11-18 11:07:34.583Z

I'm pretty sure the answer is no.... However is there a way to trigger Logic Pro X's "Key Commands" via javascript without assigning keyboard shortcuts too them?

Thanks
Kitch

  1. Not that I know of right now, but it would be interesting to look into.
As you know I don't use Logic very often, so I haven't really explored how something like this could be achieved. Maybe through some clever MIDI routing. @JesperA did you ever achieve anything like this with your old setup?

    1. Hey @Kitch.

As Christian say, we don't have that.
I imagine there could be some way we don't know off through some API or SDK.

What you could do is adding a MIDI trigger for the commands, in the key command window, and then send that MIDI trigger in Javascript from SoundFlow.
But it would obviously only work on a computer where you have assigned those specific MIDI triggers.
Adding those/setting them up, could be done through some SF automation process adding triggers to the key commands...
