Issue: Could not select display menu item

Hello and thank you for sharing all your great scripts!

In your previous version I was able to get nice object rotations up to 7.1.4, and it worked great! But now on Pro Tools 2024.6 and Spanner 4 I can't get a 9.1.6 Spanner to Object conversion to work. Error messages appear at random on various channels, saying that it cannot location a certain automation lane, for example:

Could not select display menu item: 'pan: height' (Spanner to Object Converter: Line 139)
        Could not open popup menu
        Popup menu was not found
Popup window was not found after waiting 2000 ms

Has something changed with the newest Pro Tools?

Thank you and appreciate the help!
    Curtis

Thanks for posting a question or an issue related to the 'Sree - Dolby Atmos' package.
This package is made by @Sreejesh_Nair. We're auto-tagging them here so that they will hopefully be able to help you.

Please note, that the best way to get help with a script, macro or other content installed from the Store is to select the script you installed, then click the red Need help button, and then click "Get help with this script or macro".
By using this workflow, the developer of the package will get access to more information so they'll be able to help you quicker.

I believe this is a similar problem: Pro Tools v2024.3.1 menus disappear when Soundflow (v5.7.7) is running/paused (OS 14.4.1) #post-4

related to how PT is handling menus.

Hi @Curtis_Macdonald . Can you check now? I have updated the package and added a wait and a scroll to view for this. It works on my system now.

Thanks for the support, Sreejesh!! Big fan of your work and contributions! I've learned a lot from the posts on your blog!

I'm running v3.3.1 of your Sree - Dolby Atmos package and getting the same results. Is there a newer version that you've published?

                    Thanks again!

Thanks Sree! I see the Pro Tools Editing script has been published as 3.4.0 but the Dolby Atmos package is still 3.3.1 in the SoundFlow Store.

If you click on that it should show 3.4.0. For some reason it hasnt refreshed the version number in the store. Maybe a bug on that end I think. Let me know if you could see it. Also make sure you have Soundflow 5.8 installed.

Hmm I'm still only seeing the package as 3.3.1. @chrscheuer can you please help confirm that 3.4.0 is indeed published and available as an update?

                                    Thank you!
                                    Curtis

                                    1. Yes, 3.4.0 is up - you may have to restart SoundFlow as the Store contents are cached.
