The default command called "Zoom Waveforms" is not working with Pro Tools

    System Information

    SoundFlow 5.8.0

    OS: darwin 22.6.0

    ProductName: macOS
    ProductVersion: 13.6.9
    BuildVersion: 22G830

    Steps to Reproduce

    1. Have a Pro Tools session open with 1 audio track that has a clip of audio on it.
    2. In SoundFlow, create a new macro with the command "Zoom Waveforms".
    3. You can set it to Zoom In or Zoom Out, neither is currently working.
    4. When I assign this to my Streamdeck on a button, it does not work.
    5. In SoundFlow, when I click on "Run Macro" it does not work either.

    Expected Result

Waveforms in Pro Tools should get smaller or larger depending on your macro setting.

    Actual Result

    Nothing happens

    Workaround

    None

      Hi @Tom_Marks,

The Zoom Waveform commands seem to be working for me here on my system. So as a first troubleshooting step, can I get you to update to the latest version of SoundFlow from soundflow.org/account/install?

If the issue persists after the update please let me know.

      Thanks in advance. :-)

Starting yesterday, I noticed that the command isn't working again. I tried restarting a few times. I re-created the macro new, and it didn't make a difference.

            Thanks for reporting back.

Now that you have updated to version 5.8.1, can I get you to log a new Help/Issue request for this?

Out of interest, are you seeing the same issue with other Scripts or Macros you are trying to run?

Are you by chance using a VPN or working behind a firewall?

Hopefully, the new Help/Issue report and answers to the above questions will help us troubleshoot the issue further.

I ended up switching the macro to the Pro Tools keyboard shortcut, and it's working good.

Yes, the new update 5.8.1 fixed the issue. It is now working correctly.

              Thanks!
