Best practice for creating and editing sub deck navigation?

    Hey @Kitch!

    I've been experimenting and I'm curious to find out what the best practice is for creating new sub deck navigation (or duplicating and editing existing sub deck navigation commands). I'd love to be able to create my own sub deck navigation similar to the existing Logic Pro package. I know I can make folder commands, but it would be awesome to have this type of navigation.

    My instinct was to create a user preset from the package, but when I do, I can't seem to get it to populate into the drop down. When I attempted to edit the script, I was getting errors for lines that I can't see in the script.

    Thanks, as always!

        Ok, I figured out most of it, but the one command that I'm having difficulty with is creating a new "navigate back from sub decks."

        Thanks!

          Hi @Justin_Krol,

          Nice!! As a starting point be sure to watch the following video on "Deck Folders & Navigation"

          Once you have a full understanding of the concepts in this video we can jump on a quick Zoom call where I can walk you through setting up "navigate back from sub-decks." :-)

            @Justin_Krol,

            Let me know once you've digested this, and we can jump on a Zoom call. :-)

                Hey @Kitch -

                So, I actually created a workaround that's unique to the crazy system that I have going on here (after watching that video, thanks!), haha, so I'm actually totally solid without that specific command! No need to waste anymore of your time on this one!

                  Nice, happy to walk you through it if you change your mind. :-)

                      Hey @Kitch, I had a watch of the YouTube video linked above. I've been trying to plan out a new Logic Pro deck which utilises your "navigate to previous deck" command, but can't get an editable copy to show any of my decks in the dropdown option.

                      [Image 1 showing deck I want to display from "navigate to previous deck" command]

                      This is definitely dumb user error on my part, but I also can't get the command to nest inside a package I've created either...

                      [Image 2 showing error message received when I try to copy-paste the "Navigate back from sub-decks" command into my user package]

                      Would love to schedule a Zoom call with you if that's an option!
