Steps to Reproduce
- Import markers from ProTools session
- I do have 5 marker lanes which are all named
- All the markers import into the Notes app with no problem
- Export with the Excel format
- Error

Also, you should be able to filter the Notes list and just print the filtered items. I've tried that and it doesn't work.

Hi Chris,
Unfortunately, this particular one needs changes in the platform code itself (it's not a script fix), so right now we're aiming for 5.9 for the fix, which should come out in October.

Of course. I really wish ProTools would let you select the specific things you want to export in a text file. If I can export the markers with Notes as an excel doc then I can just delete any columns I don't want. Ideally I just export only the things I want as a text file and be done with it. I think we may have talked about this. I have to give timeline notes to assistant editors so I'm having to go out of the Soundflow and ProTools ecosystem with them.

What would be the kinds of things you'd like to be able to do? With automations, do you mean that you'd like to be able to perform things in the Notes app from macros?

Yeah, like maybe, open into a default project, filter by a certain field, then export in a certain format, etc. Basically one button to combine a few steps. Working on episodic tv is just the same thing for each episode repeated a ton of times (this series has 28 episodes) so in that context it would be helpful.

So a couple of things. I did import PT markers into a new project, edited and then tried to export to HTML and got this error...
I selected a different project and then went back to this project and then I was able to export to HTML
Also, I think it would be good to create your own categories.

Also, when you go to export it would be ideal to have the default name be the name of the project. Not just "Notes". That's what happens when you export an excel file.

It also seems like now the Export to HTML is not working. It was before. And Ideally it would be great to export directly to a dropbox folder. Not sure if this is already possible.

Actually the export to HTML does work. It didn't work before when I filtered something. Not sure. I'll put in a report if I can duplicate it.
