    "Recall Track Preset on Selected Track" no longer working reliably

    System Information

    SoundFlow 5.8.3

    OS: darwin 23.6.0

    ProductName: macOS
    ProductVersion: 14.7
    BuildVersion: 23H124

    Steps to Reproduce

    1. Trigger macro containing "Recall Track Preset on Selected Track"
    2. Track Preset Path: Avid / Guitars / Clean (or other valid path)

    Expected Result

    Track preset should be applied as specified

    Actual Result

    Error: Could not open popup menu (Recall Track Preset on Selected Track: Line 4)
    Popup menu was not found
    Popup window was not found after waiting 2000 ms

    Workaround

    Sometimes works just ONE time after resetting SoundFlow. Stable on Ventura with PT 24.6.

              Thanks, Christian. I am also experiencing this now with 5.9.0, although the command worked the first couple times after installing. Sorry, I didn't realize there was a newer version--checking for updates in the menu bar showed "no new updates".

                So far, I can't reproduce an issue with "Recall Track Preset on Selected Track." I have tried the production build for 2024.6 and 2024.10 on both macOS 14.7 and macOS 15.1, and both seem to work as expected.

                For me, the current release of Pro Tools 2024.10 is showing as ProTools version 24.10.0.197. However, your logs are showing a ProTools version as 24.10.1.198.

                You mentioned trying to use the latest beta. Are the errors you see present if you use a non-beta build of Pro Tools?

                      Okay, thanks for that info, @Will_Melones.

                      I am unable to reproduce the error with 24.6.0.149 on macOS 14.7. Would you be able to take a short screen recording and show the preset you are trying to run and what happens when you run on 24.6.0.149?

                        This preset seems to run as expected on 24.6.0.149 for me.

                            Ah, I recreated this from scratch, and it seems to work on its own. What breaks it is when I trigger one of my more complicated session prep macros with subsequent steps, and then go back to execute the vanilla "Recall Track Preset in Selected Track" test macro.

                            In the more complex version of this, I'm restoring the last selection (so I can apply it to multiple tracks in one shot) and then using key presses to move the track(s) to a routing folder. If I add a Wait of at least 100ms after recalling the track preset, this goes off without a hitch.
