    Setting up Stream Deck Buttons to open/display decks on other devices.

    System Information

    SoundFlow 5.8.1

    OS: darwin 23.6.0

    ProductName: macOS
    ProductVersion: 14.7
    BuildVersion: 23H124

    Steps to Reproduce

    1. Create NEW DECK and assign it "by name"
    2. Click "Show Deck" - nothing happens
    3. select button on existing deck that you'd like to press to display NEW DECK
    4. find NEW DECK under "add existing command" and when selected, I get an error message "could not pick command"

    Expected Result

    I should be able to select the deck from "Add From Existing Commands." I should also be able to display a deck I'm building.

    Actual Result

    Explained above. Either the deck does not display, or I get an error message depending on the action being taken.

    Workaround

    assign decks "by serial number"

          Thanks for continuing the conversation here.

          From your log files, I can see that you are on an old version of SoundFlow, which could be causing the issue.

          As a troubleshooting step please download and install the latest version of SoundFlow (5.9.0) from soundflow.org/account/install.

          If the issue persists please let me know :-)

                Thanks for reporting back, Brian,

                If I recall correctly, you mentioned in your original email that you were using some special characters in the name of your deck. Have you tried assigning a name without special characters?

                Also, can I get you to take a screenshot of the "Set up Stream Deck" page? To do this, click on the SoundFlow icon (up by the Mac OS system clock) and then click "Set up Stream Deck".

                It might also be helpful to get a screen recording outlining the steps you're taking to set things up.
