Pro Tools 2024.11 Bug with Bounce Factory?

Hey, Andrew, just wanted to put something on your radar in case you aren't aware.

I was trying to print some stems today using Pro Tools 2024.11, and some of the stems were coming up without any audio. After all the printing was done, solo'ing the VCA's for the stems I was printing that had no audio would not play any audio, either. I had to close the session and re-open to get things working again. Very weird stuff.

Opening and printing the stems in PT 2024.6 was successful, though, so it seems like there is some kind of bug in Pro Tools 2024.11. I wonder if it has something to do with my use of Heat.

Thanks for posting a question or an issue related to the 'Scheps Bounce Factory' package.
This package is made by @Andrew_Scheps. We're auto-tagging them here so that they will hopefully be able to help you.

Please see support instructions here from @Andrew_Scheps:

        Bounce Factory Support

The best and fastest way to get help with any Bounce Factory problem is to send the User Files and (if applicable) a screen recording of Bounce Factory failing. The easiest way to do this is to use the "Report a Problem" button in the app:

        1. Go to the Bounce Factory settings using the cog in the bottom-right of the app:

        2. Click the red "Report A Problem…" button at the bottom of the Settings screen

        3. Follow the instructions on the screen.

        Thanks!
        Andrew

            Hey @David_Stagl ,

Yes I believe there are some weird Heat related bugs. One thing si if you are only using one Snapshot per session (if you don't need to change volume, plugins etc) then go to the BF settings and turn off the Snapshot Data Recall Filter (click on the title) and it will skip the step that might be driving the bug.

That's good to know. I'll give that a try later this week if I get a chance.
