Create a number of insrument tracks w Kontakt and user patches

I would like to make a macro where it will load 4 different articulations of a string library. On each instrument track id like my default channel strip and bus routing. Is this something i could do with SF?

      Hi @Mitch_Lee,

In point from can you detail the steps you would take to manually do this, That way I can see if it's something that I could create a script for.

          Sure.

          1. Create a new Instrument Track.
          2. Load my User Patch (name of my patch)
          3. Load Kontakt 8
          4. Choose the String Library and Articulation #1
          5. Color the track. Sometimes pick an icon.

Then repeat. changing Step 4 to the next articulation i want loaded.
Usually 4-6 instruments i would like to load.

I would use something like this for other things too. like when i want my 3-6 instruments that are my fave for cinematic drums.

          Does that make sense?

Actually...prob best for me to create a user patch for each articulation. then you just have to have SF load a bunch of user patches. no?

                  Hi Mitch
I've found that the easiest way. I have a few instrument patches that I can load from a SF macro. Super simple then :)

How do you create a macro that loads user patches?
