Bug with Samply Upload Integration

    Currently having an issue on 2 different machines but the same issue. Bouncing and uploading to Samply with the Bounce Factory Uploader. It is taking the files and getting rid of all of the spaces. So as bounced and as it lives in the session it is called "Another Age (mix 3)" or "Another Age (mix 2)" But once i open Samply this is what i am seeing. Also it should have autostacked onto the previous mix 2, we should not have to go into Samply and stack them manually. You can see in the screen shots. I opened the version for the first song to show the previous version which i manually uploaded, that is the correct naming scheme with spaces. Not the one with all of the spaces removed.

        Bounce Factory Support


        The best and fastest way to get help with any Bounce Factory problem is to send the User Files and (if applicable) a screen recording of Bounce Factory failing. The easiest way to do this is to use the "Report a Problem" button in the app:


        1. Go to the Bounce Factory settings using the cog in the bottom-right of the app:


        2. Click the red "Report A Problem…" button at the bottom of the Settings screen


        3. Follow the instructions on the screen.

                Can you recreate the bug using the manual upload function on the Upload Monitor?

                This must be a Samply thing, but I need as simple as possible repro case to report to them.

                    Manual upload it does the same. Consistently and on 2 different computers also. I reported this to Samply also.

                      Just an update Andrew. This is happening on 2 different machines for me. The Samply guys were in LA for NAMM and came by to investigate ! It seems this is happening on the Bounce Favtory side somewhere. They looked at the process. Now that’s service ! Haha

                      I’d be happy to work on it with you. I do not code but have a basic understanding and can troubleshoot. I use this daily and I’ve not been able to use the Samply integration because of this; it requires extra steps it’s quicker to just upload it manually and keep my file names correct. If you can point me in the direction of the output of this process I’ll look into it.

                          Hi @Clay_Blair ,

                          There has to be something about your systems that's causing this. Everything works fine on my system from BF and from the Uploader app. Can you try quitting/disabling all third party utilities etc and see what happens? Also, send me a screen recording of it happening with the Uploader app so I can watch it fail.

                                BTW I was never able to repro the stacking issue, I'm assuming that is working for you?
