Script for changing Slate VSX "rooms" in Pro Tools, without opening UI?

Long time listener, first time caller! Apologies if I'm in the wrong forum, I'm still learning how this all happens! As the title states, I'm looking for a script that I can use to be able to use physical buttons to swap between the 5 user presets in Slate VSX, like a monitor controller. I can probably fake something like this with macros for the systemwide version. However, I'm curious if someone more savvy than I could help write a script to swap between the 5 user presets without having to open up the Pro Tools plugin interface. Or at least have it open and close automatically. Is this possible? Thanks in advance and happy to provide any information that I can!
