I tried the following and didn't work...
To perform a more "hard reset" of SoundFlow, please perform the following actions in order.
Quit SoundFlow entirely (From the SoundFlow Menubar app icon by the clock -> Quit).
Open the Terminal Application.
Run this in Terminal: Type pkill -9 SoundFlow and press Enter. (This will quit all SoundFlow processes if any are still active).
Delete SoundFlow from the Applications folder and Empty the Trash.
Run this in Terminal: Type tccutil reset All org.soundflow.sfsx and press Enter.
Restart the computer
Install the latest version of SoundFlow from soundflow.org
You should be prompted to grant Accessibility permissions in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility.
Unlock the Privacy & Security if prompted.
Once Accessibility access has been granted, click the "Step #3" button in the SoundFlow startup window.
Click "Open SoundFlow" in the top left of the SoundFlow Menubar app.

Hi Brad,
Thanks for reporting this. Your report here is consistent with the picture we've seen recently from certain users who've upgraded to Sequioa in-place. It appears macOS has a bug in which certain certificates are not properly synced/caches are not cleared properly when upgrading the OS in-place.
It's really curious though, if you followed the steps you outlined to the point, that it's still not working for you.
Let me CC @Chad here, who's become our expert in this particular problem.

Hi @Brad_North,
Thanks for logging this.
The steps you listed seem correct, but would you mind following the steps through once more and double-checking that hard reset is not working.
The steps are listed out here:
Sound Flow - Log In Issue - Security & Privacy #post-12If you are still not able to use SoundFlow as expected, please send an email to support@soundflow.org and let's setup a short Zoom call to make sure we get this working for you as quickly as possible.

Hi Chad. I have run these steps countless times, still not working.

Hi Brad,
Thanks for making sure to rule out those as part of the problem. I do see an error in your log file, but unfortunately, it's fairly vague.
The error does seem to indicate some kind of connection problem or login problem. Are you connecting from behind a firewall or VPN by any chance? There's an indication in the log this could be part of the problem.
Can I also get you to double check your timezone settings under Date & Time in System Preferences? Is this set manually or using the default settings / setting it based on your location/timezone etc.?
- BBrad North @Brad_North
Date & Time is set to automatic. I do have a vpn. I don't think that's a problem since everyone at our studio has the same thing, and they aren't having the same issue.

Hi @Brad_North,
Can you check System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network? This new security setting in macOS Sequoia seems to cause issues. Ensure that SoundFlow has access to the Local Network.
If that doesn't help, can you temporarily turn off the VPN to see if that helps? Or possibly try connecting to a different network?
VPNs are another likely culprit for situations like these. For more information on VPNs and SoundFlow, see here:
https://soundflow.org/docs/getting-started/install-soundflow/system-requirements#onlineIf none of those steps helps, we can set up a quick Zoom call to further diagnose the issue. Please send an email to support@soundflow.org if you'd like to do that.
- BBrad North @Brad_North
Local Network was the culprit. Thanks!

Hi @Chad,
Can you add this documentation to Known Issues in our documentation, and possibly link to that from our System Requirements page (we might want to create a section specifically for Sequoia, and also for the process to reset things when doing an OS upgrade)?
