Steinberg SpectraLayers 11 and Pro Tools

I would like to have a workflow where I can send a clip from Pro Tools timeline to SpectraLayers Pro 11 (open the Audio Suite plugin: AudioSuite › Other › SpectraLayers Bridge: Edit, then click on the "Edit" button which will send it to the app), and then, when I'm done with editing, execute the "update Pro Tools File" command in SL and return/switch back to Pro Tools. Having the script execute the last command needed "Import Back" would be the icing on the cake. I tried to create a script, but it does not execute any click in the plugin itself. Is it possible at all?
