    SoundFlow will not recognise Stream Deck Studio

    System Information

    SoundFlow 5.10.1

    OS: darwin 23.5.0

    ProductName: macOS
    ProductVersion: 14.5
    BuildVersion: 23F79

    Steps to Reproduce

    1. Set Up Stream Decks. Click recommended first option
    2. "Now please help us identify your Stream Decks, so we can make this migration as easy as possible. Which device is Stream Deck Studio?"
    3. No option to click apart from 'I DON'T HAVE THIS DEVICE'.
    4. Stuck at this screen therefore I cannot connect device.

    Expected Result

    I should be able to select and connect my Stream Deck Studio to my SoundFlow.

    Actual Result

    No option to connect Stream Deck Studio. Although it does recognise the device, to some extent.

    Workaround

    None, I tried the non-recommended way but haven't been able to get further than SoundFlow Command squares showing up on deck.

    Other Notes

    Is SoundFlow not working with Stream Deck Studio? Stream Deck Studio is powered by a USB-C plug. Also a USB-C cable is connected for data transfer with my Mac.

      Hi @Dylan_Collett,

      I don't believe that SoundFlow currently supports Stream Deck Studio. I'll log this for our team to look at, however, we can't guarantee a timeline for Stream Deck Studio support.

      In the meantime, you could possibly use Elgato's Stream Deck Software and use the SoundFlow Plug-in.

      We typically recommend users only use the official Stream Deck integrations for Stream Deck, Stream Deck XL, Stream Deck+, and Stream Deck Pedal, as it simplifies storing and managing decks as part of SoundFlow Cloud Pro. However, using the Stream Deck app may work until we can add official support for Stream Deck Studio.

            Hi Dylan,

            As Chad said, I don't believe we officially support this yet. You may have to use a somewhat more custom approach to getting the Stream Deck Studio working.

            Could you tell us more about your use case for this? I think you're the first user getting a Stream Deck Studio, so I'd love to know more about how you're intending to use it.

                Hi , I am looking to do some UI automation in both Logic Pro and Izotope rx. I’m not sure it could be done with out the usual integration of the recommended stream deck set up. I was hoping that the combination of stream deck and soundflow could speed up my work flow. Happy to be the guinea pig for Stream Deck Studio, if that’s any use! I am interested in sound flow as it really seems to have so much potential for speeding up my process and want to integrate it into my template. I bought the stream deck studio as it fits my 19U desk rack -and assumed it would work the same as a normal stream deck.

                  Hi Dylan,

                  Thanks for letting us know. You should definitely be able to do lots of cool automation with SoundFlow for Logic Pro and iZotope RX - but, the Stream Deck Studio not being supported yet would definitely make the experience much worse than usual.
                  I opened a discussion with our beta team to see what we can do.
