A Pile of Feature Requests

    Hey guys,

Here's a bunch of feature improvements/requests that I would love to see added to SoundFlow.

    General App:

    1. The ability to have multiple windows open simultaneously. Would really help when referringto other scripts.
    2. Ability to set an app (ie Pro Tools) as default for creating new keyboard triggers. 90% of the time I am creating keyboard triggers for PT so would love to be able to designate it as the App to fill the App field.
    3. Dark Mode
    4. Way to see what scripts and macro are used on Decks or in other Macros and if any are not used at all (including command ids in scripts if possible)
    5. Opt-click to close all preset folders in the All Commands list or in search results.
    6. Ability to find a template preset from only the user ID.
    7. A button in the Forum to copy code to the clipboard.

    Search:

    1. Ability to have specific Preset highlighted in search result. Right now search results only give the Template but still can be hard to quickly find the specific Preset that triggered the results.

    New Features:

    1. Way to get track colors.

    1. You can already find a command with the user id.
Just paste it into the search field:

      1. It will show the package folder the command is in. Click it and the command will be in the command list

Thanks, Chris. I am aware of this, and I should have been more specific. I know it works for scripts, macros and decks, but it does not work for template presets. Would be really helpful if the search worked for presets as well. (now updated above)

Adding a request to break up the forum by app.

                  Hi @Ben_Rubin

In case you were not aware, the "How to" section of the forum already has sub-sections.

While i'm at it, would be great if the Command column name display behavior works the same as the Package column, which allows long package names to expand as the column width expands. Command column doesnt do that, seems to have a hard return after a certain number of characters.

                        +1 on this one.

The ability to have multiple windows open simultaneously. Would really help when referring to other scripts.

It would be really great to have multiple editor windows open so that when you are setting up a bunch of triggers and adding them to a deck that you don't have to do a bunch of jumping back and forth between pages in order to work these details out. For example. When I am adding a bunch of new custom plug-in triggers for a deck it is super cumbersome to have to jump around in different pages in sound flow. The editing interface of sound flow is a bit cumbersome to navigate in general FYI. There is a lot of clicking and scrolling to move about with the single editing window.

                        1. @Collin_Dupuis,
I'm sure you're aware of this but just in case…
You can pin a SF deck in the editor which allows you to navigate to different folders and drag commands onto it:

                              Yes, I use this function.
