feature request - real time bounce

    Hi again @Nicolas_Aparicio

Thanks again for all your help last few weeks.

I had a feature request. It would be great to select real time bounce. There are two scenarios where this would be good,

Firstly we have some instances where plugins behave differently bouncing offline, Im not sure why but to be safe we bounce all mixes in real time. So this would be a great option for stems

Secondly for mix passes, I will bounce in realtime where there is hardware/mixing console running live. So again this would be useful to have as an option

Oh and a final unrelated note. I've had a few sessions where the APP version fails but I seemed to resolve it by removing the volume fader that's on the track header, I dont normally have that on there so it was the obvious thing to take off when it failed and it worked. Im not sure if that was connected though

    Thanks
    Nathan

Hi @Nathan_Boddy, glad to hear that the Bouncer is working great!.

I'll have a look at the volume issue for you.
It's a weird one as the code for both the App and normal Bouncer are exactly the same.
Would you mind sending the error report for that one?.

As for the RealTime bounce, I can totally add this for you though, maybe next week, as I'll be on holidays for this few next days. It should be an easy one to integrate though, so I'll come back to you once done.

        Cheers mate,
        Nic.

Hi @Nathan_Boddy, I've updated the package to 2.1.13 for you and added the Realtime bounce mode option for you.

Keep in mind that the code could now be prawn to failure depending on the computer's strength (buffer, etc).
I've tested this one out a bit and it seems to be working fine so let me know how it goes.

I also tried to replicate the "volume fader" issue you had but couldn't, I actually always have them visible and it always works for me. Can you send me a video of that error when you can?

            Thanks mate,
            Nic.
