This is certainly possible with SoundFlow with a little under-the-hood arrangements. The easiest way to do it is probably to include this in the "Notes" app.
@Marco_Lopez would you be able to send me privately a couple of EDLs to test with?- MMarco Lopez @Marco_Lopez
Hi Christian,
Thank you for your help. I PMd you a couple of EDL's.
Best,

Hi Marco.
I completely forgot that we already have a package that can do this:
https://soundflow.org/store/soundflow-syncSee the "Convert EDL to Clip Groups" command. I tested it on the example EDLs you sent me and it seems to work.

Hi Christian,
Thank you for the link! I did try it but I get an error:
Convert EDL to Clip Groups failed
Error in line 32:
Could not ensure main counterDo you know why would that be?
Thank you for your time and help!

Hm. Are you showing the Sub counter? Try turning that off, and/or to make sure you have Timecode as the main counter.
- MMarco Lopez @Marco_Lopez
Hi Christian,
Yes, Subouncter is off and Timecode is the main counter

Ah gotcha. Then I'll need the full log - you can send it if you use the Help/Issue button (click SF icon, in the popup choose Help/Issue - this will give me the logs I need)

I get the Error when I try to import the EDL as Clip Groups. What I did was to create a new audio track in order to have the clip groups in there, selected the length of the video and moved the selection onto the new audio track. But I think, I might have to consolidate the selection in the new audio track, so that Soundflow can cut and create the Clip Groups? Is that a correct proceding?
I did try importing the EDL as numbered markers and it seems work. I'll let you know in a bit:)

Hi Marco.
It appears to be complaining when it's trying to set the timecodes of the EDL. Can you verify that the Timecode framerate you're selecting for parsing the EDL matches the timecode framerate in your session? It looks like you may have a < 25 fps timecode rate in your session whereas you selected >= 25 in the EDL parsing.
