Soundflow won't sign in on Pro Tools
I am running the new Pro Tools on my mac
When I open the session the soundflow tab shows this
As you can see - the Soundflow app thinks I'm logged in - but when I click on "open soundflow" it opens up the web page and I get this blank window
I sometimes also get this
If I check on my profile it shows I'm only logged in to one machine.
I run Soundflow on a seperate work mac. That is running 5.10.8 and Pro Tools 2025.6 (without the soundflow integration) and all is working fine on that machine. I've just checked and am not logged in on that machine.
Any ideas - it now won't work on this machine and I need it to work.
Chad Wahlbrink @Chad2025-10-23 22:11:17.807ZHi, @James_Stodd,
Can you try quitting Pro Tools and SoundFlow on this computer, then go to https://my.soundflow.org/sessions and log out of any sessions that appear there?
Then try launching SoundFlow from Applications and see if you can get the Editor to load as expected?
If that all works, then you can try launching Pro Tools again and confirm that the panel is working.

Quitting PT, quitting Soundflow and then logging out of the session on that page didn't help.
However logging out of session then restarting the mac did clear the problem.I do notice now that having the SoundFlow app (the one that appears in the toolbar at the top of the mac screen - to not "start automatically" helps.
BUT - another thing I've noticed is that when i launch Pro Tools - every time it forgets or fails to activate my standard deck on my stream deck device - which just displays the SF logo. Every time I have to go to stream deck setup and press "identify device" It then lights up red - and when I go back to Pro Tools it then works fine. Not sure if this is a process I need to do or if something isn't quite working correctly.
But a logout and restart fixed the original problem - so thanks!
Chad Wahlbrink @Chad2025-10-24 17:38:34.240ZHi @James_Stodd,
Thanks for the update.
I would recommend leaving "start automatically" on for the SoundFlow menubar app/desktop app:
If you launch Pro Tools BEFORE SoundFlow has started, your Stream Decks will not respond to application triggers as expected.
For Pro Tools users who don't use SoundFlow Pro, SoundFlow is enabled in the background for the included features in Pro Tools; however, the SoundFlow "engine" powering stream decks and other triggers is not running until you open the SoundFlow application, either from Finder's Applications folder or from Pro Tools by clicking on the SoundFlow logo and clicking "Open SoundFlow". This is by design so that there are no triggers run until a user opts in.
So the ideal sequence of events would be:
- Start your computer
- Launch SoundFlow's standalone application so Stream Decks and other keyboard triggers will be enabled. This can be done manually or by setting the "Start Automatically" setting in the SoundFlow menubar app.
- Launch Pro Tools and SoundFlow features will automatically be available in Pro Tools - and your Stream Decks should show the correct decks as expected.
If this was not working as expected yesterday, please try again and let me know how it goes! We made some server-side changes yesterday to ensure successful login in more cases.
