      Hi @Hunter_Crowley

      Thanks for reaching out, and I’m sorry you’re having trouble using your mic with Session Assistant.

      For SoundFlow to receive audio input from your microphone, the mic signal needs to show up in System Settings > Sound > Output & Input, under the Input tab.

      Could you check that panel and confirm whether the microphone signal is registering there?

          Yes indeed there is adjustable live signal coming into my Mac in the computer sound preferences input tab .the mic is connected via usb.
          When I click on the microphone tab in sound assistant no commands appear in the assistant request window

            As a troubleshooting step, can you try restarting Pro Tools and possibly a system restart, to see if that fixes the issue? If not, please let me know.

            It might also be worth updating to SoundFlow 6.0.3 from soundflow.org/account/install to see if that fixes the issue. :-)

                  Thanks for the extra troubleshooting.

                  We'll need to review your SoundFlow logs more to see if we can work out what's going on.

                  Can you tell me a bit about your microphone's input setup? ie. What audio interface are you using? What channel is your microphone on? Are you using any routing software such as Loopback, etc?

                  If you've got another option for mic input, are you able to make it work on that?

                      It’s a measurement mic I use to calibrate the room eq wizard plugged in directly via usb
                      I see signal in the sound input window in Mac preferences setup

                          You can also check that you have Microphone Permissions enabled in "Privacy & Security" in System Settings:

                          Can you confirm that this is enabled?

                          If it's not enabled, then I get this as input:

                          So its 12 days later no solution and I'm not able to use the microphone to prompt sound flow AI which was the whole point of me using it.

                                So its been a month and no reply or fix..Bummer I guess I'm ditching sound flow subscription

                                  Thanks for your patience. I understand how frustrating it is to be waiting this long without a resolution.

                                  The issue is logged internally and is still being investigated, and will be addressed as soon as possible.

                                  I'd not seen many of the follow-up messages to this thread. When replying, be sure to click the "Reply" button directly on the specific message you’re responding to and not the reply button at the top of the main thread... That way, the person you're replying to will get a notification. :-)

                                  Interestingly, the screenshot you provided showing that the System's microphone settings are missing an option for "SoundFlow", may be the underlying problem. I shall note this internally.

                                            This did not work.you cannot drag the SoundFlow app into that window.
                                            bummer I let the SoundFlow trial period expire and I will not be doing a paid subscription until this is fixed
