Tagging @nathansalefski, who created this package, in case he has some thoughts to share.

In my own testing of this workflow just now, it seems that if I start with the MetricAB plugin closed, it works a lot better. Can you try closing all plugin windows and running this preset to see if that works for you?

I'll also share this thread, which has some nice variations of scripts for Metric AB:

Just updated the package to check for the window so it should work well with the plugin window open or closed. Let me know!

Thanks for your reply! I just updated. But still can't get it to work. lol
I get this message -> ''Default Preset Failed TypeError: Cannot read property
              'trackInsertTogglleShow' of null

'Next/Previous Tab' 'Next/Previous Track' is working.

              Thanks for ya help!

                Thanks for the update, @room,

I get this message -> ''Default Preset Failed TypeError: Cannot read property
                'trackInsertTogglleShow' of null

Is the track you are trying to use this with in a closed folder or hidden? If so, I think this will fail.

The target track's UI needs to be shown in Pro Tools for the inserts to be automated. It can be scrolled off-screen, but it needs to be shown, not closed up in a folder.
