streamdeck install profiles problem

    Hi,

    Having a problem with pro tools and install profiles from streamdeck. I think everything is setup correctly.

      Hi Johnny,

      Can you confirm you've followed the troubleshooting guide and the "General Troubleshooting" rules?
      Please send us some screenshots here of your entire setup:

      • The Stream Deck popup menu when you click the icon.
      • A screenshot of each Profile in your Stream Deck (in the settings page, where we can see the Application assignments)

            What do you mean? Can you clarify / complete the sentence?

            I'm curious what the Corsair G-Keys is. I've never seen that before. It appears to me the Stream Deck app may have an issue where it tries to install the profiles onto that device but fails, which gives you all the screens.

            Just to rule this out, can you disconnect that device, restart Stream Deck and SoundFlow and see if it helps?
            If it does, then we have more info we can forward to Stream Deck so they can hopefully fix this bug (which we cannot control since it's not a bug in SoundFlow)

                Sorry, Trying to fix this while getting the kids to bed:) I have 2 streamdecks, both of them are not renamed and no default profile is set. The g-keys are from my corsair keyboard and you can't install the plugin in there. The only place where I have the problem is Pro Tools. Let me know what else do you need. Thank you

                  Hi Johnny.
                  Unfortunately I can't help you much since this error is in the Stream Deck app. I have forwarded your description to Elgato, but I want to warn you that we have very bad experience with getting them to fix their bugs. I have told them about this issue for months but it hasn't been fixed yet. This is the 9th issue related to Profiles that we've logged.

                  The best thing I can do is to advise you to try without the G-Keys device as I mentioned. If this means using a completely different keyboard, it's worth it to try to rule out why the issue occurs. And again make sure to follow all the troubleshooting rules and really read them carefully. Also send me the screenshots from your Profiles settings page here - this is how it should look:

                          I have also deleted to macros from my keyboard and Ill try with another one as well. Thank you for your help.

                            It's not you who is the pain - the pain is that the Stream Deck app has so many bugs...

                                I have managed to make it work last night, but don't know exactly what I did that made that work. After restart everything went back to giving me that error, which drives me crazy:)
