How to control the X-Y selector in Krotos Reformer Pro

I'd like to control the X-Y selector in Krotos Reformer Pro with ProTools. According to Krotos, this particular plug-in currently doesn't support OSC. Is there a solution with an iPad and your software? or a genereic X-Y pad midi controller?

    1. Hi Jonathan!

That's a great idea. And it would be simple to add to SF if the plug-in supported OSC, so it was definitely right of you to ask them about it.
Unfortunately, Pro Tools doesn't currently expose functionality that makes it possible for us to control plugin parameters accurately enough (we can do some coarse grained manipulation in some cases but not all). So for this purpose, I don't think we currently have a great way to do it.

You could implement a script that would simulate mouse movement on the visual sliders, based on input coming from for example a TouchOSC surface (sending data via SoundFlow).
But that would be quite some work to get going, and it probably wouldn't be as smooth as what you're looking for.

The only really good way to do it, is if you get Krotos convinced they should add OSC support (or via some other protocol).
