Stream Deck Brightness & Up/Back button

With the release of SoundFlow 3.7 I'm working on moving all of my Stream Deck Profiles into SoundFlow. However, I'm just missing a few things from the original Stream Deck App.

    1. Is there a way to set up the Stream Deck's brightness via SoundFlow?

    2. Is there a way to put an icon to the "Up" button inside a Deck folder?

If I can just set those up my transfer would be complete :)

    Thank you!

    Fernando.

    1. Hi Fernando.

Wrt 1 - yes, click your SF icon, choose Set up Stream Deck, and there is a brightness slider for each of your devices:

Wrt 2 - at this time, unfortunately, no. I'll add it to our list though - I agree this should be made possible.

      1. I'm sorry! I just read my post and it makes no sense at all on what I wanted to ask haha.

I meant something like the Stream Deck App's brightness configuration shown in this picture:

Could I create buttons for lower or higher brightness (say in increments of 10%) from the slider shown in SoundFlow?

        1. Ah. No, you can't do that at the moment.
It shouldn't be too hard for us to add an action for this though.

What's the use case for this? When do you need to change the brightness on the device, from the device?

          1. Don't worry! It's not really a NEED... It's more like a "nice to have" so that if I'm working late or my eyes get tired I can lower the brightness easily, but I can live with the slider you have :)

Quick question – My Streamdeck seems to DIM itself every so often and I have to go in and brighten it. Not that much trouble, but is that expected behavior?

            1. Hi Fred,

I think that may be a firmware setting, like some kind of sleep timer. That setting can't be controlled from SoundFlow, but it's possible you could temporarily install the Stream Deck app to configure that setting and then uninstall it again to allow SoundFlow to control your devices again.

Thank you – It doesn't really bug me that much. I was just curious if it's a known thing.
