My custom macros not working.

    Hi,

I've just started using soundflow so sorry if this is something obvious but I seem to be having an issue using some macros I created in Protools. I had got these relitively basic macros working a few days ago but now they seem to have stopped for some reason.

An example of a macro I set up was to open the colour palette using command and 6 on the numerical key pad.

It does seem to me like for some reason I'm not staying signed into soundflow whenever I click on my name in the top right corner of the window it asks me to sign in with my email and password again even if I've just done it.

Worth mentioning I'm still on the 30day trial (though will definatly purchase after) and I on 10.13.6 as my mac os so not the latest version.

    any thoughts would be appreciated,

    Many thanks,

    Tom

    1. Hi Tom.

My apologies if there are some counter-intuitive UI in play here.
When you click your name in the popup, SoundFlow will log you out. So that's the designed behavior. Once logged in, don't click your name until you want to log out.

I'm not sure what is the cause of your other issue - can you show us some examples of what you're seeing so we can talk about it in more specific terms? Ie. what is the macro (screenshot), how are you triggering it, and what happens when you use the trigger?

Thanks for your repley Christian and thanks for clearing that up about logging in.

So in this screen shot I've just added a simple macro to open the colour palette window - apple 6, when I do this now it doesn't seem to work any more, no error message just nothing happens.

I find it confussing as it was working fine for a couple of days and now seems to have just stopped and also the standard Soundflow key commands that come with the program still seem to work fine.

          Thanks,

          Tom

Sorry I forgot to add the screen shot

              1. Thanks for the screenshot.

Can you confirm that you had Pro Tools in focus when you were testing with this shortcut?

                  Yeah Protools is in focus,

Cool I will fill that out

                  Thanks,
