Steps to Reproduce
- Usuallly happens after wake from screen saver
Expected Result
Should see Decks on StreamDeck
Actual Result
No Decks on SF logo
Workaround
Quit and relaunch, sometime takes a few tries. Sometimes needs a restart.
Other Notes
When the relaunch doesn't work, it's because SF doesn't launch at all.

Do you remember a time & day for the last time you were switching apps and it didn't work? Just so I know where to look in the log?

There's a chance that macOS wants us to re-register for app switch events after a while. I don't think they document this, but we may be able to add some error handling to check if they don't report anything for a while that we should ask nicely again to be notified.

I upgraded to v4 and still have the problem with the StreamDeck losing connection after an extended period (overnight) of the screensaver being active. Please let me know if there is anything you would like me to test on this end.

Even if the fix doesn't yet work, we have improved logging that will tell us if it still needs work, where we should go to look.

At the moment, no. We need some form of indication that clicking the buttons isn't gonna work since we're in screen-saver.

As an option that would be good. My reason for this is to go into (and back out of) a mode where I can darken everything off (screens, lighting) to minimise visual distractions, when previewing work with video projection to clients.Many thanks,

Ah, I see.
The best way to do that with SF would be to design entirely black/empty Decks, and then have a macro that instantiated those black Decks onto all connected devices (ie. using the "Show Deck on Stream Deck Device" action)
