Using a tablet through Internet sharing
It seems the apps are set up similarly to the Avid control app in that the app doesn't detect my soundflow when connected through Internet sharing, or wired. My Mac is connected by ethernet and my tablet is connected by USB and WIFI to the Mac. Anyone got workaround to get the app to be detected please?

Hi Lawrence
The SoundFlow app uses Bonjour / Zeroconf to discover Macs on the network.
I imagine there are various networking configurations that Bonjour doesn't like so we maybe need to add some sort of manual networking option at one point.
Are you saying that the Avid Control app also doesn't see your Mac when connected this way? How is the ethernet cable from the Mac connecting to the wireless network?

Thanks for replying! Avid Control App doesn't see my Mac when the tablet is connected to the computer through Wi-Fi: Internet Sharing either. I was hoping the SoundFlow app would allow connection through wired USB or through the Internet Sharing hotspot.
I've got a Macbook Pro connected to a Thunderbolt 3 dock which has wired Ethernet. The tablet is connected to both this same Thunderbolt dock by USB and also connected to the laptop's hotspot I've enabled through Internet Sharing.
Do you know if there's a way to get the tablet to see the SoundFlow install on the laptop?

Sorry am I right in thinking that the tablet isn't usable in my use case? You can't use it wired or connected through an adhoc local network?
