Issue with creating SF track presets
hello and sorry to jump in like this.
I realy love the package you created but the first step wont work at all in my protools. I use protools 2020.3
"create SF track presets" gets stuk at a point. see script error bellow!
I did exactly what you said but it's not going all the way!

When you run the 1) Create SoundFlow Track Presets script you have to be in the Edit Window - not the Mix
Window.Please try running the 1) script in the Edit window and let me know if it works.

well i just tryed lunching it again on the edit window and the same message again poped.
the trac "audio 1" remains in the edit window
even when I delete the SF folder it keeps coming back!

Could you open your workspace and check if the SoundFlow folder and presets are are there?

Hmmm, I'm not to sure what to make of this. I've tested this on a few systems without problems.
In the meantime, here's a link to a copy of the SoundFlow Track Presets folder.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1QqVlsmdXxdehoE7nVCugq3_2AprZMma3/view?usp=sharing-Delete the SoundFlow presets folder in the workspace (right click it and select delete).
- unzip the download and place the SoundFlow folder here:
- go to: ~/Documents/Pro Tools/Track Presets
- Copy / drag the SoundFlow folder there.
Let me know if there are any further issues.

I've updated the track data utilities package ( i found a bug in the create presets routine that should be fixed now)Please update from the store and let me know if it works.

I'm having major issues with this working now, whenever I try to run the script I get the "Scroll to Track" dialogue box from PT. In both sends & Plugins.
I'm still on v4.38.

Are you running a copy of this script or triggering this script as part of a larger macro?

If it's part of a larger macro could you try triggering the scripts from the TDU package and see if you still get the error?

Ahh, yes, sorry. I should have mentioned that I have both scripts assigned to one streamdeck key using the shift key to differentiate from sends or plugins so that error is at my end.
Even so, when I fire the script from the TDU package, I get the same error as I mentioned.
I will try v5 today and see what happens.

So I have updated to v5 and are having the same issue.
There is no difference if I use the Streamdeck ot fire it from the Soundflow app
