IPad v1 problem.
I'm having problems with Sound Flow 4.0.3 and an iPad 1 running on versin 9.3.5. The Surface appears on the iPad and works fine for a while but then the SF interface on the iPad turns black and nothing works. Any ideas? The iPad is obviously old and slow :)

I believe the minimum iOS version fully supported is iOS 10.0 unfortunately.
My best bet would be that either we end up running a function that's unsupported in iOS 9.3.5 and then it semi-crashes - or that the device's resources are simply too limited.- Nnick krill @nick_krill
Hi @chrscheuer,
I had SoundFlow running fine on an old iPad 2 iOS 9.3.5 until a day ago. Now the SoundFlow iPad app will let me choose a server, but then no little buttons for different surfaces show up.
Reading this post I wonder if I am just out of luck and need to find an iPad that supports iOS 10 (SoundFlow is working fine on my newer iPhone)
Any thoughts on ways to trouble shoot the issue on the iOS 9.3.5 iPad2? Or is it finally time to find a new device.

Christian Scheuer @chrscheuer2021-04-05 16:21:32.935ZHi Nick,
Yes, this is because SoundFlow never officially supported iOS 9, but some older versions of the app would still run.
With the update to SoundFlow 4.2 (on both iOS and Mac), running it on iOS 9 will now no longer work. We had to make improvements to how the iOS and Mac app communicate in 4.2, so now that your Mac app has upgraded, the old iOS app will no longer connect properly.
