In direct integrating is there a way to get animated gifs to work in a stream deck?

    I see my gifs animating in the soundflow app but the streamdeck is a static image. I see there was trouble prior to SF4, is that still the case? Is there a way to get .gifs to animate on the streamdeck?

      Hi Chip,

      Which model of Stream Deck are you using? And are you using our direct integration or going through the Stream Deck app?
      I don't think we have officially tested with GIFs, so most likely it's just not a feature that we have yet.

          Yep, and I'm using the stream Deck XL directly. I see the gif in the app just not on the deck.

            Thanks, Chip. I just tried myself here. I think SoundFlow forces all images to become png files right now, so this is more of an un-implemented feature than a bug.
            I'll add it to the wish list :)

                Is there any update on this? Soundflow animates GIFs nicely inside the application, but the output on the Stream Deck is static. Animated GIFs are a native feature in the Stream Deck software... Is this still not supported?

                Also, if this isn't supported, what is being used for the animated SoundFlow logo when it sleeps?

                  No, unfortunately, this still isn't supported. I'm moving this thread to our Ideas section - please make sure to like the original post as this is counted as a "vote" for new features :)

                  The SF logo is custom animation code running in the background.

                        Hello - I'm new to soundflow and I would like to +1 the request for animated GIF support on Stream Decks! It would look amazing, and who knows... may attract more subscriptions :)

                                  Hi! Was this ever updated? Can animated GIFs work with SoundFlow? If not, they should! Would be a fun feature!
