How do I set up 2 stream decks
I just connected a second stream deck & it seems to either mirror the first deck with is a XL or take over the functions from the first deck. I want them to operate seperately ... & have different commands per steam deck

Hi Scott
When you select your Decks in SoundFlow, before selecting any of the buttons on your Deck, you can assign which physical Device it should be shown on - in the same place you select the size of the deck.

If you are using installed Decks that you have from an installed package made by another user then those Decks are read-only. To properly control which physical device those Decks should be shown on, you need to convert them into editable Decks (on the Deck, click Make Editable Copy).
I also walk through this process in the 2 videos on Stream Decks (in particular the 2nd of them) in the Learning SoundFlow playlist on YouTube here:

Christian I did that when setting up ... when accessing my past short cuts I have alot of nested pages. Whats happening is that instead of my XL changing pages its spilling out the contents of that folder or nested commnads on to the my smaller steam deck.
I dont want my XL deck affecting my smaller deck in anyway. I want them to be autonomous and seperate. They seem to be connecting and affecting each other. The small deck is acting like a spill function

Everything I have programed up to this point was built onto my XL deck so in theory nothing should be affecting the small 5x3

I think I figured it out ...thanks

Oh ok, great! Apologies for the delay in replying, I've not been at my regular office. What helped - just in case anybody else has this same problem?

HELLO.
I have the same problem.I have 2 different siza stream deck & I make two each setting with same application.
I want to use different sized stream decks in each setting & make trigger setting with stream deck trigger & application.for example
Stream Deck XL ((8x4) : SD XL Devise Trigger + Application Trigger (example PROTOOLS)
Stream Deck (5x3) : SD Devise Trigger + Application Trigger (example PROTOOLS)but I can't use multiple for using same app PROTOOLS.
Let me know tha way of multiple setting with each SD.
(I think my expectations will improve with the trigger setting method)I tried to make macro with "Open Deck (Show on Device)" and assigned each device the deck I wanted to adapt to.
but If even one of the assigned devices is not connected, an error will occur every time.I need a trigger that can only be used when the device and app match.
Please let me know if there is any good way.Christian Scheuer @chrscheuer2021-05-25 16:16:49.648Z
You should set the "On Error" for each macro action to "Continue", then they'll continue even if the device cannot be found :)
To get to the error handling properties for the actions, click the little "!" icon in the top right corner of each action.illicit tsuboi @illicit_tsuboi
ALL solved!!! thank you!!!!
