ProductName: Mac OS X
ProductVersion: 10.14.6
BuildVersion: 18G6020
Steps to Reproduce
- In Pro Tools push command
- Computer seems to freeze for 20-30 seconds
- Unable to access any other programs
- Script completes
Expected Result
Should have the command complete right away and not be delayed.
Actual Result
Computer stalls, unable to access any other programs and have to wait for script to finish
Workaround
No. Tried reboots, logging in and out, security preferences.
Other Notes
I recently updated the OS on my Mac Pro 2010 from High Sierra to Mojave 10.14.6 along with installing a new graphics card. Prior to this had no issue with Soundflow commands and have also installed Mojave on my Mac Book Pro and Soundflow runs fine. This issue seems to only pertain to when inside of Pro Tools. Running a command from finder window or using Soundflow works ok.

Hi Seth,
Sorry to hear you're experiencing this. I've never heard about anybody having such an issue before.
Can you give us an example of a script you're using where this occurs? Are you running any other Keyboard automation software?
Please also try reinstalling SoundFlow (just in case Mojave's security restrictions have a role to play). - SIn reply toSDS⬆:Seth @SDS
Hey Christian,
Thanks for getting back. I was able to fix the issue by doing a reinstall of Mojave and not doing any of the security updates. Had reinstalled Soundflow and did a little more troubleshooting without much luck. Read up on the last security update for Mojave, which I had just installed as well, and it seems people have had some issues and bugs with that. After Mojave install tested all the commands on my deck and surface and everything's running great!
