The System bypass is working but impossible to revert (re-active shortcuts).

Hi Benjamin,
Which trigger are you using to do this? You can always click the SoundFlow icon and then unclick Bypass in the bottom of the popup window - but if you're using Keyboard triggers, you should still be able to run the Bypass command directly.
Note, you can't run it as part of a script.Benjamin Lecuyer @benjaminlecuyer
I am using ctrl + esc.
In fact I need to have the possibility to quick bypass/unbypass Soundflow when I am typing a word in PT, because I changed some keys like C or X or Z with a shortcut.
The bypass command is working well but just in one way.Kitch Membery @Kitch2020-10-14 03:24:21.036Z
Hi @benjaminlecuyer,
If you have a key like "C", "X" or "Y" set to trigger a Macro or script you can use the condition at the bottom of the trigger popup in the SoundFlow editor to "ignore when typing text".
See the image below;
If there is a particular scenario where you are finding this does not work, let us know and we'll show you how to combat the issue. :-)
Rock on

Ah yes! I forgot this option!!
Thank you once more Christian :).Benjamin Lecuyer @benjaminlecuyer
In fact, this option was ON on all the keys.
But it seems it works when renaming track or region, or in I/O but doesn't work sometime on plug-ins (when you have to type a email address and a serial for example).Benjamin Lecuyer @benjaminlecuyer
For example with this plugin :

Yes - unfortunately we don't know when a plugin has focus, so the option doesn't help in that case. For those cases you still need to bypass SF temporarily.
Benjamin Lecuyer @benjaminlecuyer
Yes! and unbypass it manually with the mouse then.
Its strange because on the previous version of SoundFlow it worked !
But this situation happens at very rare moment so I can live with!Benjamin Lecuyer @benjaminlecuyer
And Thank You Kitch too, sorry

Rock on, Benjamin :-)

Hey guys,
I have the same problem when I am using a region renaming script in PT from Keyboard Maestro (KaiPaquin/TimNielsen script for UCS).
Like in a few plugins's textbox, I can't type the words I want because of the use of my shortcuts on keys like C or X or Q or A.
It seems that in this specific situation, the bypass/unbypass is not the best way to fix it (imagine during a foley recording session, having to do 10 shortcuts every second).Do you have some kind of tips? or am I going too deep in the system ahah (sorry!!) ?
Benjamin Lecuyer @benjaminlecuyer
Hello guys,
I am sorry I am back with this problem, many months later.
I still have this problem and when you have a system full automated of shortcuts and macros it is too bad to have to take your mouse and click on some actions :) :).
The main problems :
- I have shortcuts assigned to ESC (close plugins), C (-3dB clip gain), V (+3dB clip gain), Q (preview automation), W (manual write) and on other keys used to type text.
In a dialog box from a plugin (for example to type an email and a password to activate the license), these keys doesn't work to type text.
I don't have this problem renaming a clip or a track, but in track's comment the problem is back. - what I found to fix the problem was to quickly bypass SF, but like I told in the first post, it is impossible to quickly unbypass SF so it is very annoying to need to 'with the mouse' unbypass SF each time.
- the ESC work differently and if I assign it to 'close windows' I can't close renaming text boxes anymore.
Is there any fix to these problems?
I am using SF for a long time, I love it, it is very prowerful and I will not need KB maestro anymore to do all these things, but I think this last problem is a pain when you automatised everything.Thank You !!

it is impossible to quickly unbypass SF
You can assign a shortcut to bypass/unbypass SoundFlow if you assign a shortcut to the "Bypass SoundFlow" command - it's in the SoundFlow System folder :)
Benjamin Lecuyer @benjaminlecuyer
It is working now !
Thanks :)Benjamin Lecuyer @benjaminlecuyer
But it is working only directly assigned to the 'SoundFlow command', not in a macro command.
But it is working so... nice!
Thank YouChristian Scheuer @chrscheuer2021-03-18 22:58:14.782Z
Yea - the unbypass command is special-cased in our code, so it has some special behavior :)
- I have shortcuts assigned to ESC (close plugins), C (-3dB clip gain), V (+3dB clip gain), Q (preview automation), W (manual write) and on other keys used to type text.
