Stream Deck on SF launch

I'm using Stream deck directly with SF, no other software. Everything works great.

But every time I start soundflow after booting the computer, the stream deck is at the SF logo and I can't do anything.

I have to go into the editor, then click stream deck, then show deck.

Is there a way for soundflow to start and the most recent stream deck to open automatically?

    1. Hi Richard,

You can add a "Stream Deck Trigger" to your Deck and set the event to Connected. This will ensure that Deck is run (shown) whenever a physical Stream Deck is connected (which includes when SF or the system is started).

You can also add any other trigger type to a deck to make it show (for example, hit a keyboard shortcut to show a deck). The most common trigger for a Deck would be an Application trigger, so that a Deck is shown every time an app gets launched/focused. We also have Window triggers, so you can show a Deck whenever a certain window in an app is focused.

Even more complex than that, you can have macros that show Decks as part of their workflows - by using the macro action "Show Deck on Stream Deck".

You can check this video for more advanced navigation techniques:

      1. I'm just seeing now that you asked for the most recent Deck. We don't currently have such a feature where SoundFlow itself remembers what the last shown Deck was from the last session. Most likely, my other comments should be enough to get you where you want to go though.

In case they aren't - you could technically fully control the showing of Decks by writing scripts that would remember which Deck to show. So if you want really advanced logic it is possible through scripting.
